Not if you are at the receiving end...
How do you know which is the receiving end?
oh one knows! when the only thing one wants to do is dig a hole in earth!
For the other?
na! for oneself! just to weather out the storm! in case its a woman :p
Interesting! A woman is like a storm? What would that make a man? A straw?
No she is not a storm.. she is making it for a man! :p
This is a biased opinion!
of course it is! I am speaking from a mans view point!
Are love and war fair?
Its not about Love and War per se.. its everything associated with them thats being dealt here :p
What is love? First tell me that!
I know. Forgot what you said?
she makes you say something.. and then when you say it.. she says "Oh you dint get it! I dint mean that!" and then you'll apologize and think in your head "Hell! what was I thinking?! was I not right?!"
that was for other buzz!

Irfan, what is love?
Love is when two souls become one.....
Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired. What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined... to strengthen each other... to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories. There is always some madness in love, but there is also always some reson in madness. Synchronization of beats of two hearts making one sound..beating in harmony.
I can go on and on and on....:-)

Go on please. How much do you know love?
Everything is fair in Love...to the extent when its comes to expressing.......In most of the cases its Lust...
If we talk about war.....then I see only one example in history in the times of Hazrat Muhammad Mustufa SAW (PBUH) when wars were fought and rules were followed. But now nowadays we can say that rules are not followed in war.
But I think the common thing in LOVE and WAR is that...the decisions are taken by heart and not by brain.....
Dr.sb...I agree with your statement....
@Iola
A lot. I can write a book on it. Not much space here to express fully.
It means that love and war are the only two things in the world that have no rules.
Love: if you really love someone, you can be willing to go to any lengths to make them happy, you'll be ready to do anything to claim their love. There isn't any fair play. How can there be? For example, if there are two people who love one person then whatever they do to reach their true love can be said as fair because they are doing what's right. In the end, it comes down to what your intentions are. There is no fair play, is it fair if your heart is broken because the lady you love has found someone else who seems to love her equally? Is it fair if your love is sacrificed for someone else's happiness?
War: War usually requires fair play but again, men are willing to go to any lengths for their country and in their eyes, it's perfectly right because they are serving their country. Nothing can be said to be unfair or fair. Take WW2 for example, many of Hitler's soldiers thought they were doing what was best for their country by killing the "inferior races" and it was fair to them. Is it fair if Germany was balamed for the entire WW1? BUT all the other countries(Britain, etc.) agreed on it so it could technically be said to be fair because who would argue? Everything's fair in love and war because it's all a matter of conception.
Hmm... Disagree.
What about self-respect?
Isn't love all about respect (for self and the other partner).
If you respect yourself, how can you do impossible things?
I think you are lost. Doing impossible things out of love has got nothing to do with loosing respect.
I am shutting up then. :) That's what you want?
No I did not say that. What I said was that you are thinking about love in too many different directions. Love is love. It happens. The one who thinks about love cannot really fall in love. I am talking in general terms.
That's what everyone tells me. :)
Quite a dilemma!
:-)...I think you haven't been in love ever so these thoughts are understandable.
"Is it better to have loved & lost, rather than not to have loved at all" (Shakespeare)
Tennyson ne kaha tha ye aur aise nahi kaha tha
it was Shakespeare
Where?
@
"Is it better to have loved & lost, rather than not to have loved at all"
Who ever said......was/is correct.
KITABON SAY DALAIL DOON YA KHUD KO SAMNAY RUKH DON
WOH MUJH SAY POOCH BAITHA HAI MOHABBAT KIS KO KEHTAY HAIN
Yahan tau shaam se pehle he sooraj doob jata hai! :)
TAIMUR .
Some very bad person said that everything is fair in love and war i totally disagree with that saying the strongest words. If everything is fair in war then is killing women and children is also fair and if everything is fair in love then even killing the raqeeb(the opponent) is also fair.
SOME PEOPLE ADD BUSINESS (Everything is fair in love, war and business) TO THIS STUPID PHRASE and some add anything they like to it (Everything is fair in love ,war and __________..I THINK ONE SHOULD KICK THE ASS OF THE PERSON WHO SAID THAT .
