Do people have spare enough time to care of or think about me?

A few days back, my friend asked me while we were driving togather: Why do you care so much what people think about you?

Also later on my classfellow Aslam told me: By the age of 20 man spends his time thinking what people think about him, by the age of 40, he comes to know that people had not spare enough time, at all, to think about him.

By that time, he realizes his mistake and then he tries to take the right way of his life, but it's too late by then.

I just want to say why we're so much bothered about what people are thinking about us.

Why don't we think about our ownselves, rather than the outer world?

Is the people or the world more IMPORTANT for us than our ownselves?

If yes then WHY?

hey rizzy!

i believe its not true anymore with the changing times ppl are not cocnerned how other think of them or even of them or not!

i am never  bothered about how ppl think of my i do what ever i should be doing and i dress up ehat ever i want to! this life is too short for things like these`

it doesnt matter ... you ahve to live ur life with open spectrums!!

tc

Although rizzy what you state sounds right when looked at a very close angle, on a broader scale its not that easy just to ignore what other people are thinking about you. It might not be just what you are wearing or how you are driving.

When you live in a society, you normally act according to the norms of it. For an extreme example, I am offering prayers at mosque but I deliberately do not keep my cell phone on silent mode. After all its my mobile and I choose what I do with it. I agree with cargo that yes as time passes.. many 'donts' become 'does not matter' as people get more occupied with their own lives.

So other people's perception does not necessarily mean that they restrict your creativity, yes you should act the way you feel like but it should be prudent.

(I sound like a wanna-be-anthropologist but whose books dont sell)

PostMan,

.............................................whose book dont sell.

I don't agree with this by you. I have earned at least two, three comments by now.

My purpose is not to "sell the book" , rather I want to see what people say about this.

Good for you rizzy :)

:)

Your attitude is 100% right, cargo. Life is really short and it is not given us to be bothered about others.

Time is ever changing and so do the attitude of people but still there are some who care of all that, and they should change themselves. Thanx and TC.

Agree with Postman! :)
