During his two-day visit to Balochistan, the honourable president said, "All the demands of the people of Balochistan are acceptable to the government." Don't the Baloch demand trial of ex-president Musharraf in Sardar Akbar Bugti's murder case?

Your editorial "Permanent etchings" (March 2) has very rightly pointed out the issue of so-called Islamic provisions put into the Constitution by the late dictator General Ziaul Haq to serve his own political purposes. Apparently, they can be neither touched nor altered, just like etchings in the stone.

Theother day my son told me that he is considering a career in “Organized Crime” and wanted my advice if he should opt for the Government or the Private Sector. I was speechless.
