I would just like to share one SMS I received recently and found it to be unfortunately very true...
"Imagine living in a country (Pakistan) where the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) is looking for security and the Chief Justice is awaiting justice!"
We seriously need a revolution to root-out corruption from our law enforcing agencies and the judiciary! The rest will be fixed automatically in the due course!

I hope he gets a lesson from this. By the way, in his latest interview with Talat Hussain from AAJ TV, he has clearly indicated that he has no plans of leaving office. When questioned on his backout of his word that he would resign as a Army Chief, he said that he was naive enough to have given his word and this time around he would not make that mistake. "I have also learned bit of politics and diplomacy as the President" - Pervez Musharraf.
So what can you do. He said it would be consititutional, no matter what he does. So in other words, get ready for more amendments in the contitution and tougher times for Pakistan ahead.
If Pakistan has to survive, the dictators will have to quit. There is no other way out.

MUSHRAFF is not taking off his uniform because he is inscure that he will not come back to power...and this is not something new , the world has seen this before a dictator is always inscure.
Mush is asserting what the urdu speaking muhajirs always wanted to assert in pakistan. Their superiority over everyone else in pakistan.
I am sorry, but this place is turning racist as well, turn it off.
Being a Punjabi, I strongly reject the comment about muhajirs above. When shall we learn to be Muslims and Pakistanis before being Punjabi, muhajir, pathan, etc. This is what separated Bangladesh from us. Islam is the only force that binds at least four people together in Pakistan (Punjabi, Sindhi, Pathan, Baloch). All of them have different languages, culture, traditions, rules, festivals, etc. There is no sense in keeping them in one country if we don't put religion over race.
Secondly, as much as I want to see Musharraf leave power, I am afraid of the politician who will follow. I fear that my people will again vote for Benazir or Nawaz although they have let us down twice each; or Altaf Hussain even after what he has done in Karachi. It is very true that whenever army came, the public invited them and welcomed them. Isn't it time for a change. Shouldn't we try someone new as a prime minister next time? If not, then there might be very little use of Musharraf leaving his office.
We talk about freedom, azadi. But musharraf being the president of Pakistan i feel myself back in era before 47, at that time England was ruling us, now musharraf is ruling us, we are still slave, whether slave of a kingdom or slave of a single person. We havn't acheived freedom. I am sorry, but we are still slaves.
But another point is what our politicians doing. Nawaz Shareef says we will struggle for freedom of Judicairy but they forget that they have attacked supreme court. I benazir comes we will again having Mr. 10%, Qazi Sahab says "We are sorry for Ammendment in constitution" his subordinates say "I was our mistake and Muslim honay kai baad to kafir ke bhee sari mistakes maaf ho jateen hain" . Some one tell me how many more times he will convert from kafir to Muslim. What Mr. Altaf has done to karachi, Fazal-ur-Rehman says we are against musharraf but is occupying the seat of Lewader of opposition in National Assembly beside his party was not the second largest party in NA, and with the help of manipulation he has acheived this. Ruling or opppsition parties enjoy the benefits, highly paid salaries for doing nothing but by just passing the bills of the increase in their salaries.
I believe "they are there to serve the country not to be served by the country".
The list goes on.
So i am afraid that musharraf leaving the seat will do no good to the country. Only some of the people will change in NA or PA, but the masses of pakistan will remain in same situation or even will in worsen situation.
I believe a revolution will be the best thing for country and we, the new generation is responsible for this.
