Now here's a question that's been driving me nuts for well over a year; Why do we offer our namaz in Arabic?

Until today, i thought that the art of forgery, deceit, corruption and molestation was only mastered by the Muslim molvis, but i was wrong. Looks like the maulanas have competition because the Jew Rabbi's are a similar breed of men.

Every time i read about the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay i feel disgusted and my hopes for a better world disintegrate completely. The people there, often held without any proof and for no reason, are totured to the extent that they go insane.

Have you ever given thought to the fact that facebook knows more about you than you'd like to tell. Catherine Rampell writes that even if you delete your profile or deactivate it, facebook will keep a backup copy of it with them for a "reasonable period of time" (note that the period is not specified at all).

I recently came across an article by Mohsin Hamid, the pakistani british author, about why the world hates America. It was a very interesting read. Although i think Mohsin Hamid tried to be as inoffesive as possible, he still managed to speak his mind.

Here are a few lines that i really liked:

Is Imran Khan, the great cricketer cum politician, in some sort of political hibernation? He's not been on the front page for quite sometime now. This is the time for him to contest the elections and get an idea of the kind of political following he has. But he's nowhere to be seen.

Tahira Abdullah's news story in Dawn today got me thinking. What will become of this nation? Everyday i read about riots in different parts of the country and people dying right, left and center. But nobody's talking about the real issues.

Take a look at this! I can't imagine hurting my self, let alone burning my self to death! What leads these women to such an end and why don't the international human rights agencies do something about this?

Since people hate me for loathing men, i thought it would be wise to target the women folk for a change and balance the whole thing off.

A few days ago my uncle met a suicide bomber - accidentally.

He was in Peshawar on a business trip. While on his way to work a teenage boy asked for a ride and my uncle, the sympathetic soul that he is, was happy to drive him where ever he wanted to go.

On Sunday, Dawn newspaper published an article by Shehzad Roy, a well known pop star and president of the Zindagi trust. Shehzad rightly pointed out that the easiest way to solve most of our problems is to educate the masses.

Benazir Bhutto must be a very sad woman today in heaven (if that's where she is)! Because Mr. Zardari has officially declared his wish to become the next prime minister if PPP wins these elections.

I feel offended whenever someone says that men are dogs; dogs don't deserve to be compared to such creatures!
