Aslam kirla ka election main muqablaa kis sae huaa tha???
First his papers were disqualified by the election commission. Then he submitted an application in the court and got the relief. I do not remember the names of the other candidates. Aslam Kirla got approximately 8000 votes.

neither man nor women. There is a column of Gender in the election commission form (Male/Female). The "others" column is not there, hence he was disqualified. However the court gave ruling in his/her favour as he was the citizen of pakistan with equal rights as guaranteed in the constitution.

I did some research on the second part of his/her name "Kirla". Why Aslam used the Kirla as his family name. Kirla (A Special Breed of Lizard found on the hill tops hiding on specific trees) is captured/killed and from it an aphrodisiac is made which is stronger than Viagra. I think knowing his/her physical deficiencies, he tried to compensate for that inferiority feeling by attaching Kirla to his name.
