All that glitters is not GOLD
submitted 1 month 24 days 8 hours ago by: Last.Wish : 8 commentsLook at him...driving a Mercedes...oh wow.....nice Hummer with monster size rims....Look at her driving a Land Cruiser.....gosh look at the exterior of that house....it reflects the taste of the residents.......
Well...people look at other possessions and consider them to be very successful individuals...but its not true in all the cases.....
The industry which I belong provide services to high net worth individuals......I deal with very sophisticated and hi fi individuals.......I have come to the conclusion that we should always thank GOD of what ever he has given us....and above all never compare ourselves with others and never ask GOD for things which are very glittery...but in reality carrries lots of troubles and hardships...
I will quote 2-3 examples.........
One of my client a very successful person........well known in the business circles.....He used to Drive a Land Cruiser(latest model).. then bought a Range Rover(latest model) and then bought a Hummer..own various vehicles and maintains them all at a time.....carries 6-7 guards with him..who follows his car in a brand new 4x4..........
Constructing his house on 4000 sq yards...filthy rich person.........every one seems to be fascinated by him.
His real story......all his luxuries are not the result of his inherited fortune by his ancestors..rather he used his contacts and brain and borrowed money from the market and then invested that money in real estate etc......but some how or the other he is stuck.......his wife has left him....he smokes excessively....now its time to return all the money which he has borrowed...but he cant...cuz he is totally stuck.....but still he drives a hummer, wear excellent clothes.....and people who are not aware of his financial matters think that he is a very sucessful individual.
behind the scene the scenario is different.........chances are that, he might commit suicide...as his mental health is deterioting day by day.....
Another example.......3-4 brothers...highly net-worth individuals....again...Driving excellent cars...live in most beautiful homes.........but now the family is divided..
The brothers some how or the other tricked each other and tried to grab others share in the inherittheir share from the inherited property.....now blamed properties and business..
filed suits in court against each other.......also took excessive borrowing...now when the time for repayment has come...they are all stuck....and now fighting like *ogs....but if a new peson looks at them...they will surely say.....wow look at them, looking so happy......driving excellent car, living in a most beautiful house.....
But only the dead knows whats happening in the grave.......
But we humans, tends to be very fascinated by others without knowing what others are going through.....
Moral of the story, we should always thank GOD not only for what he as given us but also for not testing us by giving us more and justifying its usage.

Excellent Dear!
Every word seems to be coming directly from your Heart.
Wealth is not a curse at all; there is much good you can do with it. The notion that some how everyone who is wealthy is unhappy is just ridiculous.
62:10
"And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah: and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that ye may prosper. "
The prophet (PBUH) said, 'The Upper Hand is better than the Lower Hand. The upper hand is the one that gives, and the lower hand is the one that takes'
It is in fact a religious duty to run after wealth!
"chances are that, he might commit suicide"
From what I read in the papers the number of poor committing suicide far out numbers the wealthy so stop spreading this heresy which the Islamic Padris are feeding you
sour grapes
maybe all is not but most of it is....
Khalifah your knowledge regarding Islam needs to be updated...
correct me if i am wrong.......
It is not a religious duty to run after wealth..........
Being wealthy is not bad...............but the point to make.....was....that behind the scene...the scenario is different.....
Mutant...it did not came from my heart.......I only write..what I experience in true sense...
What! are you denying the ayat and the hadith I just quoted?!
I think its not wealth...its rizq......
Wealth and rizq are two different things...........
True owner of wealth is Allah and he has distributed wealth amongst people to spend it wisely and to do justice with wealth.....and every muslim will be answerable for how he has earned and where he has spent
Khalifah, you said he will see the light soon!!!
I still have hope....
